Nolan founded LUCID in August 2025, driven by a mission to create a soccer agency that truly puts players first. He recognized a lack of genuine, player-focused recruiting agencies in the college soccer world and set out to change that.

His own college career took him through multiple programs, competing at all levels of the NCAA — Division I, II, and III. Multiple transfers due to significant injuries, including two ACL tears, shaped his journey and gave him a rare, firsthand understanding of what each level offers and the unique paths players may take to reach their goals.

During his sophomore year, Nolan signed with a recruiting agency in hopes of bolstering his presence after a two-year gap caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and injury recovery. This experience revealed the true intentions of many large recruiting agencies — more focused on sales than on genuinely helping the next generation of players.

Years later, LUCID was born — crafted to be the most affordable, knowledgeable, and transparent player-first recruiting agency on the market. Every decision we make is guided by one goal: to put our players’ success ahead of everything else.

The name LUCID was chosen because it represents clarity, honesty, and a clear vision for our athletes’ futures. We believe every player deserves transparency in their recruiting journey, and we make the process as straightforward as possible.
